Salt and Water

Today we transferred salt and water to empty cups. It made us use critical thinking and inventive thinking to be able to transfer the things the best ways and to win the game. Even though no one really won because it was just for fun it was a great activity and really fun.

Working Together

I learned about my teamates Corey and Randy that Corey's favorite food is beef fajitas and Randy's favorite is medium lemon pepper wings. They are very hard workers and have many strengths and know their weaknesses. This means they will be very good workers and are just like me so we will work great together. I'm very happy and excited to be partners with them they are my great friends and they are smart and inventive. Although we might be talkative we will work great together and get stuff done and have fun doing so.

Shoe Project

The Project was very fun and great, my group created shoes and it was very interesting and fun. We designed more shoes then we had originally planned to because it was a great project. We all thought this project was very educational and at the same time entertaining. I hope we can do more projects like this because it was a great day and experience. We learned from this project how advertisements are made and how they are promoted and to become a sports marketer or marketer these skills must be mastered.

Interview

My favorite food is Burgers i love them, i listen to all kinds of music from country to rap and classic rock to alternative rock. My favorite TV shows are mainly things that make me laugh like Scrubs, That 70's Show, South Park, Family Guy, but i also enjoy CSI, Without a Trace, and other crime shows. My favorite subject is Math, I've always loved math because its the subject that I'm best at and I'm very quick at math and understand it easily. And yes i do excel in math that is one of the reasons I love it. My strengths are mental math I always do math in my head and have gotten pretty good at it. My weaknesses are English and writing essays, I don't write essays very well and have trouble putting my true and full thought into it. I don't usually study for tests but when I do I usually go back to the text book, notes, or go over the review if given one. From this class I'd like to learn lots about how business ties into sports because I plan to get a college degree in business and I love sports I've been playing my whole life. I think the work in the group should be divided evenly and taken turns each time so everybody does every job and gets good at it. I will make a great team member because i focus on my work and can get the job done efficient and fast. I also am somewhat creative so i can come up with some great ideas.

About Me

My full name is William Raymond Weatherstone but my friends call me Billy Ray or Billy and I'm 16 years old. Ive been playing baseball and football since i was 6 and play for the school now, i also started playing basketball when i was 8 but stopped in 8th grade. My favorite subject is probably Math I like it a lot (other then athletic classes). I'm in all honors and AP classes so I can be smart if i actually work and pay attention but i tend to be lazy. I went to St. Jerome for pre k, Terrace Elementary for all of elementary, Spring Oaks for middle school, and i'm now in 11th grade at Spring Woods High School. I plan to attend college but im not sure where yet or my major. I sometimes talk a lot and maybe sometimes too much cause I like to be funny but then again sometimes i can be shy. I also have a girlfriend named Courtney who goes to Spring woods. Thats all i can really think about im excited to be in sports marketing because i love sports and would love to do something with them when im older. If you wanna know anything else just ask.

Wahoo

Wahoo's restaurant is a local owned business started by 3 surfing brothers. The business is very smart marketing wise by supporting the community which in turn supports the restaurant back. They practice to not care about money made and instead the feelings of the customer which makes them such a great company. Wahoo's sticks to the 4 marketing elements and excels in all of them which causes them to be very successful.

Expectations for Educations Hopes

My expectations for this class is to learn much more about computers, sports, and business marketing. I plan to be much faster and smarter with computers and I'd like to learn lots about sports marketing because i plan to major in Business in college.
